Magnolia Memory Care exceeded all expectations with the excellent care and atmosphere provided for our mother. - June 30,2023
Director Pamela Ervin guided us through from our initial tour and ensured our move in was smooth and ready for Mom. She continued to be a wonderful resource throughout Mom’s stay and was always immediately responsive to any questions or concerns. You will not find a better advocate to ensure the best care of residents than Pam. She is a blessing to senior care in the Flower Mound community and Magnolia is so fortunate to have her at the helm.
We could not have been happier with the atmosphere at Magnolia. It is a very homelike environment, and residents seemed lively and happy…a sure sign of good care. We enjoyed seeing Mom enjoy mealtimes with other residents and she was kept busy with activities during the day.
The staff were always so kind. They made a point to introduce themselves when Mom first moved in and we observed on many occasions that these people take pride in their work and care about the residents. I took my Mom to church weekly and it was clear that staff had ensured that Mom was ready to go and looking her best.
When our Mom passed away, everyone at Magnolia expressed condolences with such grace and again, Pam was there as our resource to help us navigate the final steps we needed to take with kindness and compassion.
In summary our family highly recommends Magnolia for families looking for excellent care for their loved ones.

Gratitude for Opening The Residence Assisted Living Facility - June 4, 2023
Dear Ed,
I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the incredible work you and your team have done in opening The Residence Assisted Living Facility in Belfast, Maine (now Magnolia Assisted Living). As I wrap up my week here, assisting my mother with her transition from Tall Pines to this beautiful new facility, I can't help but reflect on the remarkable individuals I have encountered along the way.
Firstly, I would like to commend Taylor for their exceptional skills in managing multiple tasks effortlessly. On Thursday, Taylor went above and beyond to personally welcome my mother to her new home, taking the time to ensure she felt truly welcomed and cared for. Her genuine warmth and attention to detail made a lasting impression.
Joyce, who oversees the medications and works at the nursing station next to room 304, demonstrated immense dedication to her profession. Engaging in a heartfelt conversation with my mother about nursing, Joyce's 40 years of experience were evident in her expertise and leadership. It is clear that Joyce is an outstanding asset to your team.
Will, the contractor responsible for the facility, exudes boundless positive energy. He not only assisted me in hanging my mother's artwork, completing the task swiftly and meticulously, but he also went the extra mile by vacuuming afterward. Will's efficiency and proactive nature were truly impressive. He even took it upon himself to address an issue with my mother's door, promptly fixing it without any request.
Mo, the Director of Nursing, exemplifies a calm and composed demeanor while efficiently managing her responsibilities. It is truly remarkable how Mo keeps track of everything she does. She provided me with invaluable assistance during this transition, for which I am incredibly grateful.
I must also give special recognition to Billie Jo, the extraordinary chef at The Residence. The meals provided at Tall Pines were not up to par, but since Thursday, my mother has been enjoying Billie Jo's exquisite culinary creations. Her cooking has made a tremendous difference, and my mother's improved appetite is a testament to Billie Jo's culinary prowess. I sincerely hope she remains a part of The Residence team for years to come.
Finally, Ed, I cannot express enough gratitude for your unwavering commitment to your promises. From the moment Robin and I met you six weeks ago, you have consistently delivered on every single commitment. We have never needed to remind or push for anything, as you and your team have gone above and beyond our expectations. The level of excellence you have achieved with The Residence is truly extraordinary.
Once again, thank you, Ed, for your exceptional leadership and the remarkable team you have assembled. The Residence Assisted Living Facility is a testament to your vision and dedication, and my family and I are profoundly grateful for the outstanding care and support you provide to our loved ones.
